Perry Central Softball will be selling chicken dinners this Saturday August 2nd. Serving will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of 12th and Tell Street in Tell City. Dinners are $12/each and include grilled chicken, creek fries and green beans. We hope you can make it out to enjoy a delicious meal and help support our PC Softball team!

The Perry County Health Department will be on-site at our Back-to-school night on August 4th. They will be here to give school-required immunizations. As a reminder, every incoming Kindergartner, 6th and 12th grader will need required immunizations. It is strongly recommended that you pre-register using the QR code!

School resumes, Wednesday August 6th! Don't forget that 7th Grade Orientation is next Thursday, July 31st. Our annual back-to-school night is Monday, August 4th. See you soon, Commodores! 💚

Incoming 7th graders and parents are invited to attend 7th Grade Orientation on Thursday, July 31st at 6:00 p.m. in the cafetorium. The evening will consist of a presentation along with time to visit the junior high building, classrooms, and practice opening lockers. It is our goal to help students feel comfortable about their first day of school! At the orientation you and your child will learn about the following topics:
- New Graduation requirements/Diploma Types
- School Policies/Guidelines for Jr./Sr. High School
- 21st Century Scholars information
- 7th grade class schedule
- Resources available
This orientation is a wonderful time to get your questions answered and ease the transition between sixth and seventh grade. We are very excited about welcoming you and your child to Perry Central Jr./Sr. High School! No RSVP is required. Cafetorium doors will be open no more than 15 minutes before the presentation. This Memorial Day, let's remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. It's a day to reflect on their courage and dedication, not just to celebrate the start of summer. Even when bats take off the winter to hibernate, they still need our help! We can protect hibernating bats by taking proper safety precautions, avoiding closed off caves, and being aware of white nose syndrome- the deadly disease harming thousands of hibernating bats!
