Reminder, no School tomorrow on Good Friday, April 7th! Monday, April 10th is a Virtual day for students and a Professional Development Day for Teachers. Enjoy your long weekend, Commodores and Happy Easter!
Join us tonight at the Softball field! Perry Central is celebrating the 20 year softball anniversary on today, April 6, 2023. Recognition will be before the Varsity Softball game vs. Orleans. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
Perry Central Family Outreach is collecting and recycling old PSC Phone Books. Please help us reach our goal of collecting over 700 phone books. We will receive 50 cents for each book collected and recycled. All proceeds go towards purchasing school supplies. All elementary classrooms will receive a reward when we reach our goal! Phone books can be sent with students or dropped off at any office. The last day for phone book donations is April 25, 2023.
Athletic physicals planned for tonight (Wednesday, 4/5/23) will take place as scheduled. Thank you!

Athletic physicals scheduled for today are still on for now. We will watch the weather and make a final decision later today.
Good afternoon, PC families. Today’s weather is causing concern for getting students home on buses safely; therefore, we are going to release early today. Buses will depart at 12:45 or as close to that time as possible. There will be no Lights On or CIA. Hopefully all of the students know your family’s plan for where to go today, but if not, please contact your child via text or call one of our offices, and we’ll get a message to them. Thank you!

Prom is fast approaching & we need your help with After Prom! There will be a planning meeting on Monday, April 10th at 5:00 in the high school library. Hope to see you there!
Don't forget, Perry Central will be conducting athletic physicals for the 2023-2024 school year tomorrow, April 5th at Perry Central High School. Any student planning to participate in athletics during the 2023-2024 school year at Perry Central must have a physical on file that is dated after April 1, 2023. Perry Central will provide an opportunity for every student athlete to complete a physical for a minimal cost of $5.00. Students currently in Grades 4 and 5 planning to participate in football, cross country, volleyball, basketball or track will need a physical. Students currently in Grades 6-11 planning to participate in any sport including cheerleading will need a physical. Students can pick up physical forms in both the elementary and high school offices. Varsity Softball had a tournament at Corydon
Reminder Perry Central is hosting a blood drive in the HS gym tomorrow, April 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please give if you can! You can sign up to donate by going to the web site: www.redcrossblood.org, find a drive and put in the zip code 47551. Follow the prompts and sign up or you can also register on the Red Cross App. Units collected will count towards Perry Central’s senior scholarship dollars!

Don't forget, if you sold Merkley Meat this needs to be picked up tomorrow, Saturday, April 1st! Grades 5 & 6 will pick up orders at 8:00 and grades 7 & 8 will pick up orders at 9:00 a.m. at the pavilion. Grades 9 & 10 will pick up orders at 8:00 and grades 11 & 12 will pick up orders at 9:00 a.m. in the bus parking lot. All orders must be picked up by 10:00 a.m. as the delivery trucks will leave at this time. Thank you!
Carson E. Lasher Foundation is having a Toy Drive April 3-14, 2023. All items collected will be donated to Riley Children’s Hospital. Donations will be made on behalf of The Carson E. Lasher Foundation and Perry Central Schools. If you would like to make a cash donation, checks can be made to Carson E. Lasher Foundation. The winning class will receive a pizza party!
