This year, 30 Perry Central students will graduate with the Indiana College Core, saving them time and money on college. Obtaining an ICC Certificate means earning at least 30 dual credits and saving, on average, $275 per credit hour (a combined savings of $247,464 in tuition costs for these 30 students). #EarlyCollegeWeek @CELLuindy
The PC Art Department is presenting their annual Paper Mache show through Tuesday, April 26th. This year the students chose "HOLIDAYS" as their theme. They are giving tours to all elementary classes and showing off both 2D and 3D artworks.

Mrs. Knieriem’s Kindergarten class had some fun this week starting their ABC Countdown to school being out. For “B” Bubble Day, they got to think like scientists and experiment making their own bubbles and bubble wands.
Perry Central Football team will be selling Grilled Pork Chop Dinners this Sunday, April 24th at Leopold Park. Serving will begin at 11:00 a.m. and dinners cost $10.00. We hope you can make it out to purchase a dinner and help support PC Football!
Congratulations to our 7th grade student, Kaylee Lechner! Mrs. Brockman encouraged her to enter a writing contest. She wrote a poem and it was not only published but she also received a merit award.

photography, karate, No Place for Hate, Legos, cooking classes, games and other fun activities! Lights On is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 6:00 p.m. with evening bus routes at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Lights On is open until 5:00 p.m. with no evening bus routes. Congratulations to Jolene LaGrange and Blake Tucker who earned their way to compete in the State Skills USA competition for Construction. They each participated at the state level and earned a scholarship from Vincennes University. Way to go Jolene and Blake along with their sponsor, Josh Craney!
Perry Central School is collecting old PSC phone books. Please help us reach our goal of collecting over 1000 phone books. Phone books can be sent with students or dropped off at any office. Last day for phone book donations is Monday, April 25, 2022.
Carson E. Lasher Foundation is having a Toy Drive March 28-April 1. All items collected will be donated to Riley’s Children’s Hospital. Donations will be made on behalf of The Carson E. Shout out to 5th and 6th graders, Coleton Austin, Loren Cole, and Bella Harpenau! They volunteered to read books for No Place for Hate, to promote kindness, sharing, and equality. They were very nervous but did amazing! Thank you teachers for allowing them this opportunity!
Happy "Twosday", Commodores! Our 2nd grade team had a lot of fun with this today, since they were teaching Grade 2 on 2.22.22. The kids also thought "Twosday" is 2 cool since they are in grade 2 on Tuesday 2.22.22! đź’š

If you haven’t thanked a school counselor lately, this week is a great time to do it! A big THANK YOU to our school counselors, Lauren Blake, Brittney Carter, Kelly Cash, Dana Harris, Tony Keown, and Jordan Nonte, who make a tremendous difference for students, staff, and families in our community. We are grateful for their service! You all deserve to be celebrated every day, but especially during National School Counselor Week.
